Hiring an apprentice or training existing staff with an apprenticeship is a cost-effective way to develop your workforce whilst also increasing employee retention. Apprenticeship training is free for levy-paying schools who are part of a MAT or Local Authority. For non-levy paying schools, 95% of training costs are subsidised by the government.
